Stopped in here while visiting because I'm generally a fan of Belgium style beer, turned out to be a very pleasant surprise.  The beer was as good as I had hoped, but the varied menu and excellent food surprised us. We started with some appetizers- Devils on Horseback which are dates stuffed with goat cheese wrapped in bacon and covered in lemon garlic sauce, I don't think I've ever eaten a date before and it was fantastic.  We also had the tomato bisque (made with Almond Milk!) also very good. Adult dinner was salads, which were good but the menu was varied enough that our somewhat picky kids were able to find something they really liked, including a really good buffalo chicken pizza, and an excellent pepperoni pizza mac and cheese dish.

I would recommend this place even if you don't like Belgium beer or don't like beer at all, there's something for everyone.

Great place to grab a drink!

My brother-in-law, who is a beer enthusiast, is a big fan of their craft beers. I'm more of a cocktail person myself (cue the eyerolls), but I still enjoyed myself immensely. Their mojitos and sangrias are great; they're tasty and not overly sweet and have some very pleasant fruit chunks. It's also fun to try their seasonal cider.

Their mac and cheese was also surprisingly good. The cheese was wonderfully stringy and really hit the spot! It was a great side to eat while we enjoyed our drinks.

Keep an eye out for their bluegrass jams on Thursday nights! The locals bring out their instruments and play next to the bar, which is really fun to listen to.

A note to the drinkers: no matter how old you are, make sure to bring your ID! You will be carded before being allowed to purchase drinks.

First night visiting family in Boulder, stopped into West Flanders for some food and drinks. It was the tail end of happy hour, and we managed to order a few pints of beer (all our first choices were unavailable), along with a couple appetizers (hummus+pita and devils on horseback), before the clock ran out.

The beer was fine, I'm having trouble saying good but certainly acceptable. The apps were also passed around the table to head nods and murmurs of approval. Next, mains. My girlfriend and I split an order of fish and chips, which, it just so happens, is exactly what my cousin and his wife chose to split. For the wee child: a cheeseburger.

The fish and chips, which arrived looking enticing, revealed itself to be a bit soggier and squishier than expected. The french fries immediately withered on the plate. The fish was also mushy, despite the best efforts of the breading. Textures aside, the food tasted okay, particularly when complemented with sauces and/or slaws, though we felt no burden, my girlfriend and me nor my cousin and his wife, to clean our plates.

Finally, some more attention from the waitstaff would have improved the experience, and we likely would have ordered another round of drinks. Instead, when the opportunity finally presented itself, we paid the check and made a hasty departure.

This is a great spot to enjoy the sights and sounds of Pearl Street in Boulder. Whether you are seated at the patio or even the upstairs, you have a great view to take in all that happens on Pearl. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall the food was good but didn't blow us away with amazing flavor. Although I had a side of coleslaw with the ribs and it was the best coleslaw I have ever had!  My daughter loved the Caesar salad and nearly licked the plate clean. My dear husband ordered a pizza and was a little underwhelmed. Drinks were delightful and not too sweet. I think I would like to go back to try more things on the menu. The ribs were super tender!

Ok....wow.... awesome beers, awesome service, awesome food. The wait staff checked on us twice to make sure that everything was fine.
I had the pulled pork Mac and cheese which was crazy good. My wife and my brother in-law had the pork yummy burger which they througholy enjoyed.
The beers are brewed on site and are fabulous.
I would definitely recommend this place.
